Jacvapour V1P Electronic CigarettesJacvapour – UK Brand But UK Quality?

Over the last couple of years Jacvapour has become a favourite of both new and experienced e cigarette users.

The reason for this is down to the quality and flexibility of the e cigs they have on offer.

This Jacvapour review is going to be taking a closer look at the V1P PCC starter kit.

What’s In The Box

The V1P kit comes in a nicely designed presentation box, inside you will find the following:

-1 Rechargeable Battery
Portable Charging Case (PCC)
5 Cartomisers
USB Charger
Pack of coloured bungs

Battery/Responsiveness

The Jacvapour V1P kit does only come with one battery which isn’t ideal. There is an option to add a second battery on the checkout page though and I would highly recommend doing this!

It is an extra £9.99 but I just think every mini e cig kit should be used with 2 batteries, they do run out after-all! Yes…. This kit does have a portable charging case but if your battery runs out having a spare you can rotate can be a life saver especially if you are out and about for a lengthy period of time!

Jacvapour E Cigarette

The batteries are very good quality, I had both the black rubberised and stainless steel, both have a great quality feel in the hand. They are also available in a white finish.

To add to the colour options there are also size options, three to be exact. 55mm (150mAh), 65mm (180mAh) and the 78mm (280mAh) lengths pretty much cover all needs.

Goes without saying that the size of the battery equates to the length of time it will last. I found that 2 65mm batteries were good for me and on a rotation I was never without use of a battery. As a moderate vaper I was getting around 2 hours vaping time from the 65mm, the 55mm was around 1 hours vaping time and the 280 mAh around 4 hours.

If you are looking for a ‘cig sized’ e cigarette experience then the 55mm is as near as you will get. As the life of this size battery isn’t great I would probably recommend mixing it up with one of the bigger capacity batteries.

Replacement batteries come in at £11.99 and whilst not the cheapest they are good quality.

Portable Charging Case

Jacvapour V1P PCCThe PCC has a great sliding mechanism design that has only been used by one other company I know of to date, V2 Cigs.

It can hold one full e cig upto 65mm + 35mm cartomiser and one charging battery.

So doesn’t hold a great amount but the size is good and really does slip in and out of the pocket with ease.

The 78mm battery will only fit in the case minus the cartomiser.

Charging a battery in the case is as simple as screwing the battery in and keeping the button on the back pressed down for a few seconds, the battery tip will light up to indicate it is charging.

Overall – Batteries feel quality in the hand with a few good options to choose from. The PCC looks great and while it doesn’t hold as many spare cartomisers as I would like it does fit one full e cig and a charging battery comfortably. Only real downside is that the basic kit only comes with one battery. Be sure to add a second battery onto your order!

Jacvapour Vapour/Flavour

Jacvapour CartomisersAnother area Jacvapour provides great flexibility is with their flavour options. On checkout you have the option to choose from 3 tobacco flavours, menthol, capuccino, vanilla, mint and cherry.

Add to that the options of nicotine strength (0mg, 6mg, 12mg, 18mg, 24mg) and I would think there is something to fit most tastes.

If you have your own e-liquid there is also an option to just have blank/empty cartomisers so you can fill your own.

If you choose to go for pre-filled cartomisers then these can still be refilled once the juice runs out, buying bottled e-liquid to do this can be quite a cost saving in the long run.

I tried out the Tobacco Red which I think is supposed to be based on Marlborough Red cigarettes. They certainly gave me a very robust tobacco flavour which was a good representation of the real thing.

I personally prefer the UK made Real Tobacco Lite e juice. Keep in mind that taste will differ for each person, this is just my personal taste.

The throat hit from the 12mg nicotine strength was decent and the vapour volume was OK too.

Refilled cartomisers are £6.79 for a pack of 5 which is certainly a very good price but if you were to go down buying the bottled e-liquid and filling yourself then you would be looking at around £4.35-£5.99 for 10 ml, £7.29 for 20ml and £15.99 for 30ml. They also offer both PG – Propylene glycol and VG – vegetable glycerine based e-liquid.

Jacvapour Cartomiser Batteries

So, again lots of options and the other bonus of choosing the e-liquid route in the long run is not only the savings but the actual amount of flavours that will be available. Remember you can buy e-liquid from anywhere it doesn’t have to be from the Jacvapour website!

Overall – The Red Tobacco flavour for my personal taste was just OK but there are numerous flavour options as well as nicotine strengths to cover all smoking habits. The pre-filled cartomisers are a good starting point but moving to bottled e-liquid not only gives you a wider range of flavours but will also work out cheaper in the long run!

Bottom Line

The V1P kit is without doubt one of my favourite starter kits, Jacvapour have done a superb job in putting this together.

The PCC is one of the better looking ones I have come across and even though it doesn’t hold as much as some other PCC’s it still does the trick.

Batteries are top quality and perform well. When it comes to options, not just with the batteries, there are plenty. It is not just new e cig users that will like this kit but more experienced users as well.

If you are looking for an e cig kit to start with or even want a mini e cig to use out and about alongside your EGO or APV’s then you won’t go far wrong with this product.

If you decide to go for this kit what I will say is add an extra battery! One mini e cig battery is not enough for even the lightest of vapers! For heavy smokers/vapers I would suggest taking a look at our Jacvapour Series E review for a device with a longer battery life.

I’ve been a very loyal customer to Jac for 5 years and place an order every couple of months. I was having trouble getting the batteries to charge so bought a brand new charging unit. Still didn’t work so came to the conclusion that it must be the actual batteries that were faulty – 6 in total. I do still have some that work so it hasn’t been an issue. I contacted them today. All I wanted was for them to replace the faulty batteries, I wasn’t expecting a refund for the extra charging unit, although I am out of pocket!! I am bitterly disappointed that they are not prepared to exchange the faulty batteries. I feel robbed.

I have a lot of love for this kit and company, it got me off smoking. For a small ecigarette this is the best going. If you are looking for something the size of a normal cigarette then hands down this is the best kit available. There is really not another kit that comes close to its performance except maybe the Greensmoke (extremely expensive and no PCC) or V2 cigs which is the same connector but again is far more expensive. If comparing it to something like elites or skycig it blows them out the water. I notice one reviewer has said get a VV device, and its true a VV device will perform better (I use one myself now) comparing the 2 however, is like comparing a dog and a horse, they are entirely different things. If you are looking for an easy switch from smoking to vaping then a cigalike is easier for most and this is the best of the bunch.

Got this kit, which was send with a faulty PCC charger. It was replaced but then one of the batteries developed a fault. It was also replaced quickly. I would recommend to buy your ecig locally so you are able to take it back for a refund or replacement. For me this kit was a total waste of time and money. Also cartomizers don’t last as long as many people claim. In the end it is not that cheap. The KR808 carts are not easy to get hold of unless of course you buy them from JACVAPOUR. DONT BUY THIS KIT, GET A PROPER TANK VV BATTERY KIT. Otherwise you will regret wasting your money!

I was a heavy smoker for 45 years tried e cigs 3 years ago and haven’t smoked since.I first tried skycigs and found they were too dear as they didn’t do an e liquid.went on to jacvapour about two years ago and liked them since.I always buy tobacco red catridges plus e liquid to match.never had any bother with with any of there products so far.tried other e cigs now and again but none as good as jacvapour.the price is also fair with what you get.also about a year ago I took a draw from a friends cigarette and coudnt believe how bad it tasted.

I was looking forward to trying this Jacvapour e-cig having bought cheaper types from my local shop. I needed something reliable due to my working in the North Sea for 2 or 3 months at a time.

I was ripped off by a scammer and never received my order or managed to get my money back?

Lesson learnt to be very careful when buying from the internet.

Please don’t be put off my review. Company’s like this one and a few others are doing great for people like me who have tried to kick the habit but have failed on numerous occasions. Thank you.
